The Founder of Perceptive Consulting, Joanna Liew, was the Project Lead for a research system supporting population policy development co-owned by the National Population and Talent Division (Prime Minister’s Office) and Ministry of Home Affairs. The system included business intelligence capabilities such as data modelling, predictive and geospatial analysis and visualisations. She evaluated business intelligence platforms proposed by vendors and coordinated inter-agency data requests, project development and user testing for the system. In her Talent Analysis and Collaboration role within the Naturalisation Department, she analysed immigration and manpower data to support policy development, evaluation and projections. Joanna also analysed and evaluated policies and programmes in the Early Childhood Development Agency (Ministry of Social and Family Development) and Singapore Management University.

As the Director of Perceptive Consulting, she is facilitating data transformation and visualisation for companies and organisations across different industries including F&B, retail, education, law and trade associations. She has been appointed as the External Advisor to Bain & Co Dubai and led her team of analysts to provide manpower supply and demand analysis for a project commissioned by the Abu Dhabi government. By building customised dashboards to meet specific business needs, her team partners with industry experts to provide actionable insights and relevant recommendations to grow revenue, increase productivity and optimise manpower to reduce costs. She has conducted data analytics training and workshops with Netassist (Empowering your Business with PowerBI series), CPA Australia (Accounting Analytics), SGTech, Torch Group and Business Network International Singapore (Workshop speaker at BNI Singapore Member’s Day).
